Unlimited domains, unlimited mailbox - $9 per YEAR
FranklyMail is email hosting for domains you already own, on one plan: $9 a year for unlimited mailboxes, unlimited domains and 10 GB of storage pooled across all of them. Extra storage is $0.40 per GB per year.
There are no seats. A mail server does not care how many people are on it — it cares about bytes stored and bytes moved — so that is what gets billed. Shared addresses like hello@, careers@, invoices@ or the one you made for your accountant cost nothing to add, on any domain, in any number. Most providers bill per human being, and again every time you hire one.
What you get: IMAP, POP3, SMTP and JMAP, so any mail client works — Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, your phone. Webmail in the browser on a machine that is not yours. Aliases and catch-all addresses, cross-domain forwarding, server-side Sieve filters, two-factor authentication and per-client app passwords. Adding a domain generates the MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records with copy buttons and registrar-specific instructions, then keeps checking them and tells you which one is wrong rather than that "something is wrong". Moving in from Gmail, Fastmail or your own server is an IMAP import that keeps folders, dates and what you had already read, and leaves the old account untouched.
What it deliberately is not. No bulk, marketing or newsletter sending — that is a different business with a different reputation profile, and mixing them is how ordinary mail stops arriving. No calendar, drive or documents — there are better tools for those. No free tier and no lifetime plans. Storage is metered, so if you arrive with a 200 GB archive you will pay for 200 GB — a very large single mailbox is the one case where this is not the cheapest option, and it is better said here than found at renewal.
Under the hood: Stalwart for mail, on dedicated hardware rather than hyperscaler compute, which is why the price is $9 and not $19. Billing runs through Creem as merchant of record. 30-day refund, no questions.
