Boost Domain Rating

Boost Domain Rating is a free web tool that checks a website's Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR) instantly and ranks it on a live leaderboard of startups and directories.

## What is Boost Domain Rating?

Boost Domain Rating is a free web tool that checks any site's Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR) instantly and places it on a live startup DR leaderboard. Built as part of the SaasHunt ecosystem (the page credits "POWERED BY SAAS HUNT"), it runs entirely in the browser and uses Ahrefs data to assign a DR score. The site displays a ranked table of startups and directories along with their current DR, from SaasHunt at 55 down to Discover New Tools at 0.

## Key Features

- Free DR check — Enter your domain and get your Ahrefs Domain Rating instantly, no signup required.

- Live leaderboard — Startups ranked by DR in real time, with positions updating as sites grow.

- Ahrefs-powered data — Domain Rating values come from Ahrefs, a widely used SEO metric, so scores match your Ahrefs dashboard.

- Rich directory listings — 43 entries listed with favicons, brand names, and exact DR scores; each links to a detail page on boostdomainrating.com.

- Sortable categories — Leaderboard tabs for Top, Growing, New, and Directories filter by status.

- Cross-listed ecosystem — The site participates in a network of similar "Smol" and "Hunt" directories (Smol Hunt, Smol Saas, TinyHunt, Launch01) also ranked on the board.

## Who is it for?

- Startup founders — Check your own site's DR and see where you stand against 42 other products in the directory.

- Indie hackers — Track the DR of competing micro-SaaS tools and directories to benchmark your link-building progress.

- SEO specialists — Quickly gauge the authority of potential link partners using Ahrefs data without opening an Ahrefs account.

- Directory owners — Find high-DR startup directories like SaasHunt (DR 55) and DevHub (DR 36) to target for backlinks.

## What can you do with Boost Domain Rating?

- Check any domain — Type a URL into the checker to get its Ahrefs DR instantly; the tool is free and unlimited.

- Climb the leaderboard — After checking your DR, your site appears ranked among other startups, giving you a public DR metric.

- Research competitors — Browse the leaderboard to see the DR of similar tools like Smol Saas (30) or TinyHunt (28) and identify gaps.

- Discover link prospects — Use the Directories tab to find high-authority listing sites worth submitting your startup to.

## How does Boost Domain Rating work?

The workflow is simple: enter your domain URL and press "CHECK DR". The tool pulls your Ahrefs Domain Rating and displays it, then inserts your site into the live leaderboard sorted by that score. Since it is powered by Ahrefs, the number matches what you would see in an Ahrefs dashboard.

## Pricing

## FAQ

### Is Boost Domain Rating free?

Yes. The page explicitly states "100% free" — you can check unlimited domains and appear on the leaderboard without paying.

### What is Domain Rating?

Domain Rating (DR) is an Ahrefs metric that measures the overall authority of a website's backlink profile on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 100. SaasHunt currently leads the leaderboard with a DR of 55.

### Do I need an Ahrefs account?

No. Boost Domain Rating uses Ahrefs data behind the scenes, but the checker works without requiring you to log in or have an Ahrefs subscription.

### How does a site get onto the leaderboard?

When you check a domain through the tool, that domain is added to the leaderboard with its current DR. The ranking updates automatically as the DR changes over time.

### Does the leaderboard include only startups?

The main list mixes startups, directories, and tools — including SaasHunt, DevHub, Smol Hunt, and even quiz sites like Quiz Boost. A Directories filter narrows it to just directory sites.
