Trending stories are scoped globally, to the map viewport, and subscribed locations. Subscribing users can add their own pins to the map including images, multimedia and event information. Pin to create memories and share. Optional overlays include S&P 500, Today in History, wildfires, earthquakes, air quality & public sentiment blooms. Mappit's chatbot is Marco. He knows all about current events and where they are happening. His memory grows every day as the story corpus expands.
