How do I calculate profit margin from revenue and costs?
Profit margin % = (Profit ÷ Revenue) × 100. Subtract your costs from revenue to get profit, then divide by revenue. Example: $10,000 revenue and $7,500 total costs = $2,500 profit = 25% profit margin. For gross profit margin, use only COGS.
