javinfo is a developer API for JAV metadata. POST a DVD ID to /movie and you get the single best match. Hit /query and you get a list. Either way, javinfo checks the providers (DMM/FANZA, JavDB, and others) in priority order and hands back the first valid result in one shape.

It's metadata, not media. Title, cast, studio, label, series, covers, runtime, release date, in English and Japanese. You read result, the same way no matter which source answered.
