Most billing dashboards calculate MRR from invoice amounts, which means upgrades get counted as new revenue and annual subscriptions distort your monthly number. Gleam calculates MRR from Stripe Price objects instead, so mid-cycle upgrades are classified correctly and annual plans are normalized to their true monthly value.
