Price County Fun

Price County Fun is a local journalism and community information website covering Price County, Wisconsin — a rural county of about 9,000 residents in the state's northwoods region. The site covers municipal government, county board meetings, public safety, local elections, school district news, federal spending impacts, and community events across Price County's villages and towns, including Park Falls, Phillips, Fifield, Prentice, Catawba, Kennan, Ogema, and Spirit.

The project produces investigative reporting on topics mainstream outlets miss — sheriff's office operations, Flock camera surveillance, county budget decisions, gravel pit controversies, municipal clerk records compliance, and infrastructure projects like the Bug Tussle radio towers. It also maintains a local business directory with 105 listings enriched with Google Maps data, a live weather and trail conditions widget, and a free embeddable news widget that other sites can use to display localized headlines.
