RouterBase is an AI API gateway that routes to 200+ models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and more through a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Instead of maintaining a separate SDK, API key, and billing relationship for each provider, developers integrate once and switch between models with a single configuration change — no code rewrites required.

It's built around three ideas. First, every model is served through official provider endpoints or officially resold channels, so you always get the genuine model rather than a throttled or degraded version. Second, smart routing with automatic failover keeps applications running: if one provider errors or times out, requests fail over to an alternative instead of failing outright.
